LEVELING REQUIREMENTS
If Verde Turf & Outdoors preps your yard, you do not need to read this. They are trained in all of these requirements and have extensive experience prepping Delphina Pools.

If you are using another landscaper, please send them this page.

If you are doing the work yourself, please read this in full.

APPROVED MATERIALS
-
Retaining Wall Materials: If you're building a box, use welded steel with a gauge of X. You cannot use wood (it will weather overtime) and you cannot use interlocking steel (it will separate and not hold the weight of the pool).
-
Fill-In Materials:
-
Less than 2 inches: You can just use decomposed granite.
-
More than 2 inches: You must first use road-base, compact it, then at decomposed granite.
-
02
APPROVED EQUIPMENT
-
Compacting: If compacting more than 2", you must use an electric plat compacter. Hand compacting is not enough force to create a hard base.

LEVELING DIMENSIONS
-
Depending on the furniture add-ons, the leveled area should meet the dimensions below. The seating and bar areas don't require hard-compacted surfaces; grass, gravel, mulch, or turf will work. Turf or gravel will keep the inside of your pool the cleanest. Note: You’ll need at least 2' of clearance on one long side (front or back) to open or remove the pump cabinet door. The side with the cabinet cannot be placed directly against a fence or wall.
